For those of you who will be in the Algarve before the wedding we will be having a welcome gathering for all who would like to attend.
Join us at 1pm at Casa Vida Mar for an afternoon of delicious food & drinks, and have a chance to meet everyone before the wedding!

Arrive at 3:00pm for a welcome drink
Ceremony starts at 4:00pm
Music stops at 12:00 am
Bar closes 01:00 am

OUR STORY
Lucy and James started as all modern love stories do these days, with a swipe right.
They started messaging and felt an instant connection, soon agreeing to meet for their first date. They met for drinks at a local bar in Borough and felt an immediate spark. Lucy introduced James to some Australian music and James introduced Lucy to some very English sayings.
A shared love of dogs brought them closer together and they spent their first valentine's together looking after a 3 month old puppy, the first in the ever growing Lucy and James’ dog sitting service!
After dates and holidays, Lucy and James spent their first Christmas together at his parents' house; what a way to meet the family for the first time! As the pandemic lockdown hit Lucy and James moved in together, rather than face spending all of that time apart. Their relationship blossomed and spending that time on the English Riviera highlighted their shared love of sun, sea and sangria!
They managed to escape the UK during one of the breaks in covid lockdowns, taking in some winter sun in the Carribean. It was in this setting of white sand beaches and stunningly warm water that James proposed.
With wedding planning on hold with border closures, Lucy and James took on the project of buying house that was a bit of a fixer upper. When the only bathing option was a paddling pool in the back yard, knowing they were there together let them laugh their way through renovation hell.
James was finally able to meet Lucy's family over Christmas 2021. Despite a thrashing in the Ashes and a last minute bout of covid it was the perfect trip. It gave Lucy the perfect opportunity to introduce James to scuba diving, something that they can do together for years into the future.
With a (nearly) renovated house and no more lockdowns they finally began to plan their big day, and can’t wait to celebrate it with all of you!

THINGS TO DO
There's plenty to do in and around Lagoa, we will also be putting on a welcome BBQ and farewell brunch the day before and after the wedding, more information will be provided closer to the day
